General Practice Information
I work with clients addressing issues such as; relationship problems, loneliness, adjustment, grief, general malaise, women’s issues and spiritual deepening. Using an integrative client centered and spiritual approach, I focus on my client’s needs and ensuing issues. Individuals and couples are welcome for both short and long term therapy.
What is a spiritual psychologist?
I see myself in large part as a spiritual psychologist although I have been trained in other modalities over the years. I have come to see the aspects of our human experience occurring along side or perhaps within this deeper spiritual sense of who we all are. In a nutshell being human has three aspects, the mind (our thoughts), our heart (our emotions) and the body (where all emotion and feelings are felt and lived). Through inquiry into this human experience a deeper sense of life, and who one is, starts to emerge. Not just who one “thinks he/she is”. One starts to see that even the more difficult aspects of being human, such as sadness, grief, doubt, are welcome and can be held in this deeper experience of being alive. Spiritual psychology can be a fit for many people and particularly for those who may have already tried other therapies and not found a fit.
